Sunday June 15, 2008 Father's Day; I think I will take advantage and sit on my duff. I will reflect on years past. I know that I shall hear from our three daughters one son, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren some time today. That we have been able to know our great grandchildren and certainly the older ones will remember visiting "Grump" and "GG" is one of life's blessing.

For the first six years of the 80s, I spent every Father's Day in Chicago at the American Medical Association's annual meeting. I suppose those six days were selected because adequate hotel space was available.

For those who are curious, "King of the Hill" resided in Scotland.
