Oh me,Oh my
Just finished reading the 19 pages of the staff report. As expected it is a reaffirmation of the Solaris request for the CON. The qualifying conditions are as Dan says "weasel talk". #11 "Solaris shall develop a patient and family transportation plan etc." is a sop to the known lack of public transportation. NJ Transit is not going to establish a new non profitable route. The travel times listed are between 20 to 25 mph, legal city speed limits, and may not include red lights. Almost all except to JFK, which I find to be on the low side, approach the limits of acceptability for patient transport.

The patient transport analysis is a joke - the "source" is the CN. The travel times were by "Department Personnel" or ambulances if "truth be told". Those that make decisions will never take the time to travel for themselves to see what devastation will be caused. It's much easier to make a decision from a million-dollar dazzling presentation! Surely the board doesn't want Solaris' money wasted - would they?
