Hospitals

If you have not read Dr. Metsch's op-ed article in the 6/4/08 Star Ledger regarding the state of the hospital system in New Jersey and what corrective measures should be taken you should do so.

Dr. Metsch suggestions on how to correct the problems that face hospitals and the State today are progressive and similar to the opinions of many concerned individuals. We can only hope someone in authority will read this article and realize, as we all have, that the State has either no solution or an impracticable bureaucratic one. The approach to the excessive hospital beds and to third party reimbursement needs radical revision.

Tonight, by popular demand, there will be a second public hearing at the High School on the granting to Solaris a CN to close MRMC. A turn out as large as the previous one is important. Unregulated vocalization will prevent some individual from being able to vent. The Board might even listen to what we will say and what we have said.

Since I have little else to write today , how about a pretty picture?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is the distillery on the Island of Jura, one of the inner Hebrides's Islands. They produce one of the best single malt Scotch whiskeys with a unique distinct flavor and smoothness.
