ReplyDeleteWhen we were notified about this, we sent regrets because our already-scheduled community meetings and events could not be broken. The letter was sent via hard copy to Peter Briggs at 216 Pemberton, at the address of the NAACP, and to his personal email as well as the organization's email address. I just want to make sure that anyone who goes is aware that will not be in attendance. No alternative dates were offered.

DeleteIf by "Democrats" you mean no Republicans or Independents that is because the only race is in the Dem.Primary. If you mean only the "Regular Democrats" aka Jerry's slate perhaps the fact that Jerry's reinvente3d puppet; Sharon "owns" the local NAACP, a former president and check who is President now.'
The partisan action of the Plainfield Area NANCY in posting, from its own administrators, its desire for voters to vote for the column A candidates is beneath contempt. The organization under the control of the current officers, should lose its charter.

Rebecca has so much hatred and malice for the old Admin. and Jerry Green that it is very disconcerting. Yes she is a good writer and uses impressive words and analogies, but her loyalty to Mapp is scrary.Mapp can say go jump off the the bridge and she would say that is a good idea.Her energy is spent still attacking SHARON and insulting her husband.Rebecca does not honor the flag or Prayer, but has a lot of hate , resentment ,disrespect for all who does not agree with her views. Notice how the new Dems. disrespect and insult people who do not agree with their views, and if they don't agree she blames Jerry.This woman needs a personality class.
ReplyDeleteYou should have signed your name since you are attacking a person. As to the flag salute there is nothing mandatory in the Constitution that it has to be done. Moreover, pledging allegiance doesn't mean that you are not committed to destroy this country.
DeleteAs to the prayer; I have many times expressed my opinion. The 1st Amendment gives the right for individuals worship as they please that incudes agnostics and atheists. Does Mustaffa pledge or participate in the prayer? I don't know and don't care but I can't answer that because he is in the back of the room.
To 12:26pm - I am always curious why Jerry Green supporters are so loyal. Most recently, Jerry said he could get a stay for the PILOT program for Liberty Village. Well, he could not. And had Mapp not called a special meeting to vote for the PILOT to change hands, the members of Liberty Village would now be packing and finding a new home.

It appears that your portrayal of Rebecca's loyalty to Adrian mirrors your loyalty to Jerry. At the very least, you should be able to identify with that.
