I have not yet had the time today to post on Trump's State of the Nation" speech last night. Instead I have been spending time with the plumb ere trying to find the source of a water leak which I discovered 2when I received my twice normal water bill.
It is not a simple matter since the house is a ranch on a slab with no access underneath and the incoming pipe runs the length of the house and two bathrooms are about 30 feet from the shut off.
I will try to post before noon Thursday.

STATE OF THE NATION & PLAINFIELD
Tonight Trump will
deliver his St ate of the Union address to Congress and the nation. (9pm). This
will be followed by the Democrat’s rebuttal delivered by Massachusetts
Rep. Joe Kennedy III, who is the image of his grandfather; Bobbie Kennedy.
In light of the ongoing
Mueller investigation and the sudden resignation (forced?) of FBI Deputy
Director Andrew McCabe there should be a high voter’s interest in tonight’s
speeches.
Another unexpected resignation took place yesterday in Plainfield when Chief of Staff John Stewart, Jr. resigned because of a lacking of transparency stating "it’s not what I wanted for Plainfield. We’re going back to the old days of just, decisions being made in backroom deals and it was supposed to be an open, transparent government, and a political party that wanted the best for Plainfield. And I just feel like it’s going back to a lack of communication."
According to TAP “Stewart said Mapp was "clearly agitated" during the meeting after all that has transpired in the past 48 hours, referencing emails from two key members of the Plainfield Democratic City Committee being circulated disapproving of Mapp's support of New Jersey Senator Nicholas P. Scutari for Union County Democratic Chairman.”
He was referring to letters from Mary Burgwinkle, Treasurer of the PDCC and Sean McKenna, 4th Vice-Chair of the PDCC.
Mary wrote “I am sad and disappointed that PDCC Chair Mapp endorsed Nick Scutari for Union County Democratic Chair, in advance of calling a PDCC or Executive Committee meeting to discuss this important matter. Making unilateral endorsements is disrespectful of our elected membership, and gives the impression that we all intend to vote for the endorsed candidate." Noting that she would not be a “rubber stamp”.
Shades of the Green era of unilateral action, the PDDC membership be damnedCongratulations Mary for sticking up for what is right and best for democracy government.
