JULY 8 BLOG

As a Republican-that is an old line one- who would have voted for Wilke if the voting age had been 18 at that time, and one who due to the political reality** of local affairs has been a registered Democrat for years; I can only note my concern over this election’s two major parties potential nominee

For the next four and 2/3rds months we will be struggling with the knowledge that for the first time in my experience we are going to choose not from who the better person is but rather who is the lesser of two evils.

Our choice will be a Clinton who consistently skirts the law because they believe that they are above it and a Trump who not only believes that he is unto himself the law but can and will rewrite it..

As of this hour I cannot favor either Hillary or the Donald and hope to keep my blog free of bias although most to date have been critical of Trump.

Even as yesterday when Trump was rightly critical of the Attorney General’s decision to close the Clinton e-mail case, he had to express his admiration of Saddam Hussein. He who fought terrorism by execution without trial. In other words Dictatorship is preferred.

How can we support the Trump, who made millions in Atlantic City not through his boasted managerial skills but who withheld paying his small contractors entirely or settle for pennies on the dollar. A person whose expertise laid in marketing his name to investors burdening them with debts. And then getting out before the casinos became bankrupt. That was also a practice in his real-estate dealings.

Hillary got away with her ignoring email security by using a personal server because she, herself, did not share any sensitive information with another person; General Petraeus’s crime. Yet her habits of evading the truth, denial of wrong doing, and false statements were prominent in this case.

More in the future as the mud flies, meanwhile thank you Blackdog for your comments including notifications.

  1. Well Doc, maybe the VP choices will help you sort it out. With all the intrusions into potential candidates' personal lives, no one of quality wants to run.

  2. Look You just have to decide. I'm FOR Clinton for a lot more reasons than I am against her. I have zero reasons to be for Trump. Let me try to simplify any vote for someone other than Clinton is a vote for Trump, as is the reverse any vote for anyone other than Trump is a vote for Clinton. It's as simple as that, you can't just write in someone and salve your lack of responsibility in choosing a candidate. One of these people will be the next President of the United States unless something crazy happens at one of the conventions. So quit your bitching and choose. Remember what happened in Britania when people voted for Brexit than regret it the next day. This choice will take us through 40 years of future history what with the Supreem Court in play as it is. If that is the ONLY reason you vote Democratic, swallow your consternation and look at the truth of your alternatives, don't bail out on the future of the country. Seriously who do you think will run the country with We The People in mind. It's a small choice and a small concession considering the alternatives.

    1. I don't know where you get your info but the only people who regret the bexit vote are the ones who voted to stay in the first place.

  3. Really? What internet site did you find that info on? Was it a caption under a picture ? what about the 4.1 million signatures on the petition to reverse the decision? Happy people? I don't think so. I also think that when you get what you want you wont be happy anyway.

    1. Time Magazine Online. Those 4.1 million petition signers were mostly immigrants from London area. Parliament is letting the original vote of 33 million to exit remain in effect. No second vote for the crybabies.
You stand corrected! Why do people like you hide behind Anonymous?
