BRIEF RED FACE
I had tunnel vision in answering question #1 of Councilor Storch's quiz. (d) is still the correct answer. The real political power is not in the hands of any politician but belongs to the voters. The problem is that only a small percentage vote at any one election. If we wish good government we should exercise our privilege. By not doing so we permit a small group with a self serving agenda to control the city. This is even truer in the BOE elctions when the turnout is around 10%. Shame on us.

The City is Incorporated as the "The Inhabintants? of the City" The voters are just a portion of those people. If EVERY person [regardless of age, citizenship, mental compentance] was all brought together for one mass meeting, then it would be the people who would really speak. Until then we are forced to use the Council Memebers to run things.
