Back to Germany today. These are from Wurtzburg on the Main River.
Statues line the bridge.
The Cathedral on a hill across the river from the town. On another hill is a fortress castle with vineyards extending down to the river. the fortress is flood lighted at night, an impressive sight.

    Dan is correct, there is no "T" in Wurzburg. There are great wines, not popular here, from that part of Germany.
