MONDAY'S AGENDA.

Monday's agenda contains with a few exceptions no item not discussed on the 7th One exception is a report on proposed road construction for 2012. Since there are 22+  roads listed; the South Ave/Pacific-Atlantic street and Watchung Ave. have already started so they are not on the list of  '6 contracts". This can be seen on the City site.

What is confusing is the term Contract 1,Contract 2,etc. . Does this mean that all the streets listed  in each "contract"are to be done by one vendor and all in 2012 ? Or is each "contract" the batch that will be done each year?

There is a Resolution for an Inter-local agreement with Scotch Plains to resurface Cushing Road ; Plainfield's share is to be an astonishing low $38,250.00 . The resolution is from Leland Ave to Terrill Road. On the list of streets under Contract 2  is Cushing Rd. from Lealnd Ave to dead end that is the cul de sac west of Leland. Part of this street also lie in Scotch Plains.
