As I noted yesterday without reviewing the support documents for the proposed Resolutions and Ordinances which are the subjects for inclusion on next weeks business meeting it is impossible to comment on ton ghts Council meeting. There are a total of 28 proposed Resolutions and 4 Ordinances listed. The Corporation Counsel usually adds a few more and there may be others that arise from the "Discussion/Action Items" or "Unfinished Business" sections which preceded the consideration of next Monday's agenda items.
Two of the 4 Ordinances appear to be innocuous; One seems to be the adoption of the State's Uniform Fire Prevention Code , another which is not clear from the printed agenda is to prohibit or amend the restrictions on Parking on Gresham Road, Belvidere Ave, and Park Terrace. If I were to guess these are restriction in place relating to commuter parking for the Netherwood Station and are outdated.
The other two proposed Ordinances has to do with the Office of Economic Development and will require reading to understand. We do have two months under the present meeting schedules to digest and opine on proposed Ordinances.
The Items for "Discussion" include (1) "Emergency Management Plan","Capital Improvement Plan".(3) The "Council Rules of Order (Agenda Items)". plus (4) Family Fun Community Appreciation Day' and "Vehicle Mileage Reports". There is also scheduled an update on the "WBLS Expenditure Investigation". How long these matters will take will determine the duration of the meeting.

Make parking more restrictive on Gresham, Park and Belvidere ONLY after increasing the daily parking spaces at the station lot.
