Pat Turner Kavanaugh. It is with a great deal of sadness that
I learned this early morning of her passing from this email sent by my daughter
Patricia who was a classmate at Hartridge.
“All
I know is she was to be at a Wardlaw/Hartridge dinner of some sort last night(Saturday) and when she did not
arrive they checked into what may have happened to her and found out from a
neighbor, who looked through the window, that she was on the floor and
deceased.”
Pat
was a dedicated Plainfield activist, a core member of the League of Women
Voters, and part of the time an abrasive maverick in her commitment to our
city.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Under
the circumstances it is likely that the cause of death will have to be
determined by a coroner’s inquiry.
