There are several items of interest at Monday night’s agenda fixing session.

The first is the CBAC’s report of the on the proposed budget and then there is Resolution A ??’ Reserved Space” “ Possible adoption” of the CY 2017 Budget.

There is a resolution “E” Granting a waver of fees to Patricia Fields to use the Milt Gamble Field for a “free Community Concert”. ,8/19/2017. Patricia Fields lives in Hillsbourgh NJ and is acting for the”New Outlook Pioners” club of Murray Hill. This club consists of workers of Lucent Tecnologies”.

They have provided free concerts in the past in the Plainwood Park which at present is unavailable due to construction. They are asking for a waiver of fees and complimentary police protection . they plan to invite a limited number of entrepreneurs as vendors.

Public works has several resolutions via the Morris Cooperative. One amends the contract with Stavol for street re pavements for an additional 120K to repave Columbia Ave.

There is another that uses the Morris County Co-Op For concrete replacement at Engine Houses 3&4 for the sum $53K. What is interesting is that there is an attached quote from Cifelli $ Son General Construction,Inc of Nutley for that amount with the following statement “a final quote will follow upon request”

Tsivicos Enterprises 2will get 223K for the Madison Ave. Skate Park. According to Pennoni Associates the contracted City Engineers the only other bid was 405K from a California company.

Another resolution awarding a Seacoast Construction $703,146.25 as the lowest bidder per Pennoni for West Third St. re pavement. Why was this project bidded out whereas others have been awarded through the Morris County CO-OP as more cost effective?

There are several Planning Board requests for resolutions but none for the Muhlenberg Campus redevelopment.
