ABOUT MONDAY NIGHT

In every generation everyone is obligated to see themselves as if they themselves came out of Egypt"—i.e., out of slavery. ( Haggadah)

I am sorry that today’s blog is late and almost nonexistent.

As you know despite the importance of the introduction of administration’s proposed budget for 2017; I will not at tend tonight’s meeting which is on the first night of Passover, the first Seder Night.

Bernice has posted a link about Passover and its meaning. Another good link is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passover_Seder

To explain the meaning of the four questions and the symbolism of the four sons.

Also the meaning of “Elijah’s cup”. And the fact that “strangers” are welcomed to the traditional table. These are usually non-Jewish friends.

  2. Happy Passover Doc. My wife and I had the honor and pleasure of being guests for Seder with friends in Westfield last night. What an pleasant evening we all had. The fellowship was so inspiring. G-d willing we will have another opportunity in the future.
