With Fall I have a great excuse for not finding time to blog; the best sports to watch on TV.
The only thing better than College football is the "March Madness" Professional football if it involves the local teams is OK about 5 on the 1-5 scale, but the college game is 8 to 9 especially if there is some ancient history with one of the teams.

Thus having little time for constructive activities happens routinely at this time of the year.

I would ordinarily be posting something about the Agenda setting session of the Council this coming Monday, but there is nothing yet posted on the City site.

Monday the Mayor's budget will be submitted to the Council for receipt and/or adoption. The Council can change line items and decrease expenditures etc. In past years, one of the excuses for the delay in introducing the budget was the non-availability of the State funds and specific grants. In Fridays Courier in the Legal Notices is Bound Brook's Amended 2010 Budget. The budget approved in April- 5 months ago- had no line items for State Aid. The Amended Budget adjusts for the State's allocations.

Also in Friday's Legal Notices is the BOE's notice of contracts awarded. Too bad that without a code book in is difficult to interpret some of the services ((AUT,CHI,BD,ET,MD etc.) Some appear to have marked difference in cost for various services from different vendors. Maria help!
