..BACK TO REALITY

It had been a pleasant weekend with family, free of any concerns about OZ or the world. That is until (a) near-winter arrived Sunday morning, (b) On the 15th we have to pay for what is supposedly be government at the national and state levels and, (C) late Sunday I became aware of a rumor about a mega-bombshell that supposedly on Monday will hit the fan.

If true and I have no reason to believe otherwise, than I would agree again with Gloria, heaven help us, in her call for certain actions. On the other hand; could it be that in order to assure that top level jobs go to residents, we are going to resort to those whose records are tainted?

But then again Politics is Politics, and honesty and morality has no place in our Democracy. Therefore, if true I would not be surprised except for the magnitude implied in that rumor.

Thursday the Courier published the list for the tax lien sale in October.

There are again some familiar public names on it most noteworthy a
Councilor. One missing is another Councilor who was on the PMUA list for 2013. It must be assumed that the debt was cleared prior to this week’s publishing.

Notable is the fact in the four and half pages almost all owed only the PMUA Sewer charges. We must also assume that if they did not pay PMUA for sewer use, that they also did not pay for waste collection.
