Friday Jan. 10, 2014: Thanks to AJ an electronic copy of the agenda for Monday night's Agenda setting Session was available to me by email.
After a quick glance it is fortunate that there is nothing on the agenda that would make it imperative to make a trip Saturday morning to read the support material.
Yes there are 4 communications from the Mayor; all for appointments to various entities;
- Jeanette M. Edghill to replace Rickey Williams on the Housing Authority where he has been serving as a holdover for the past three years in a term expiring7/1/2016.
- Horace Baldwin, a reappointment to the Plainfield Planning Board for a 4 year term ending 12/31/17.
- John Steward and Carlos Sanchez (Deputy City Administrator) to the Plainfield Planning Board, no terms given on the Agenda
- Wendell Craig Woods to serve on the Plainfield Culture and Heritage Commission for a 2 year term to 12/31/15
Most notable on the Agenda is the non appearance of Two Items which were not accepted for "walk-on" inclusion at last Monday's meeting; The Resolution requesting the Appointment : The Approval of the Appointment of Siddeeq El-Amin as Director of Public Affairs and Safety; The Resolution for approval Carl Riley as civilian Police Director,
Has administration despite its bluster kowtowed to political pressure? Or has our local Democrat Party followed our Governor's Administration lead of exercising political vindictiveness at the expense of Public safety? .
Will Plainfield always be OZ?
you know... I've been quiet of the subject of Jerry's interference regarding the appointments simply to watch and see what the usual "Sharon is the root of all evil crowd" ( Bob, Dan, Dottie etc ) would have to say now that we are in the New Age of Democratic Enlightenment ( you know, moving away for Plainfield and the People being 4th, 5th, last place on the Local Democrats agenda ). But of course... now we have all them with silence or "hey.. whoa.. let's wait and see folks.. let's give the age of Capitulation, sorry cooperation, a chance " and further down the rat hole we go. Either way... Bully to Jerry Green... he gets the same saps he walks all over, pushes around, bullies and intimidates to do his bidding simply by saying "You'll do it" and then watches them campaign for him. That man has got to laugh himself to sleep at night. In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king. Kudo's to you Jerry Green..you have found the worlds largest group of suckers going. I don't think Sharpe James had a bigger group of fools in Newark.
ReplyDeleteGreen is the dumbest Genius around. Head of county party, head of city party, assemblyman. If a corporation tried to do that they would be called a monopoly and the likes of Green would be screaming from the hill tops (rightfully so) - but when it comes to having the same group controlling every aspect of a county its not a big deal apparently. We are seeing the same thing start to happen with this City administration - it will be the same 15 individuals involved in every board and commission and focused on their own self interest. Even OZ isn't this screwed up. This has long ago lost its entertainment value.

Major layoffs in the county yet Ray's "BOYZ" still employed. Oh and lets not forget Ass. Green and his vulgar Youtube video. Remember Sharon, Barbara, Bridget, Vera, Tracy, Martin and Jennifer.
