STUFF

Do you know what month this is? The calendar says it is March; but there are 9 designated months in March.

February we know is also Black History Month (only in the USA). But did you know that it is also known as two other months; Career and Technical Education Month and Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.

The list of “Months” that claim March as their own includes: Irish-American Heritage Month, Music in our Schools Month , National Brain Injury Awareness Month, National Celery Month, National Craft Month, National Essential Tremor Awareness Month, National Frozen Food Month, National Middle Level Education Month, National Nutrition Month, National Professional Social Work Month, National Peanut Month, National Women's History Month,  and Red Cross Month .

I believe that we should elevate National Celery month to Star status. thus today would be: Day 4,National Celery  month.

This nonsense is a preamble for tonight’s Council meeting. It is also in lieu of the first segment of that elusive Health Care series. The later ran into a catastrophe when several pages of notes disappeared into cyberspace.

This is however a recent article why it is so difficult to write about the status of health care.

THE DETAILS: Rite Aid’s NowClinic Online Care program is now available at 58 locations in four cities: Baltimore, Boston, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Customers can consult with doctors by video or phone or through an online chat about a range of ailments. A 10-minute consultation costs $45.

Now all you need is a smart phone. No more waiting in an office.
