I am still waiting to hear something about the Agenda Fixing
Session; if there was any discussion about items to be voted on at the next meeting.
Perhaps the agenda will be informative.
Either Friday or Saturday the Senate will approve Kavanaugh.
My personal feeling is that he should not be approved not because he may or may
not have been guilty of sexual acts as a teen/ college student; but because he
was too evasive in his replies to questions by either side.
I do fault the Democrats
for character assassination in a last-minute attempt to block him. They had the
complaint months ago but sat on it till the last minute.
The Republicans also
are playing politics and the so called FBI investigation was a farce with
strict limits on who to check on.
Our hope is that we once again vote for Senators not on
party affiliation but on their ethics and belief that they will honestly represent
the public to the best of their ability; not be concerned with job retention.
