Thursday night Sept.3 at 7:30 pm the Planning Board will
hold a meeting to determine if part of the Muhlenberg campus, the hospital
buildings and parking lot should be designated as a site for redevelopment. If the
Board agrees then it will be up to the Council to pass the appropriate
Ordinances and/or Resolutions.
The consultants proposed redevelopment plans are not the
subject of this meeting. There may be a recommendation
for a change in the zoning usage.
There have been a great deal of strong comments about Monday’s
Special Council meeting. This is a subject that will be revisited in a few
days.
Meanwhile the heat wave continues and of course my car’s air-conditioning has
failed. Probably needs recharging.
