As in too many Council meetings this one ran from an extraordinary long pre-resolutions comment session to rapid run through the proposed resolutions and ordinances. The only exception was an extended discussion over the police's recommendation the the Express Night Club's license not be renewed.
There seemed some confusion about what it meant not to move this item to next Monday's agenda, although Corporation Counsel Minchello explained that if it was not approved then there would be a required ABC Board (the delegated Council) hearing. After a protracted discussion , Rivers, Taylor, Greaves, and Tolliver voted to put it on the agenda. Storch, Williams and Brown via speaker phone voted "Nay".
