Hello, my half brother was in the Battle of the Bulge. He is 88 years old and now resides in the New Jersey Veteran's Memorial Home, 525 North West Blvd., Vineland, N.J.
ReplyDeleteHis name is Ernest (Ernie) Stones. He has difficulty remembering things, but did tell me how he pulled a German pilot from a downed fighter aircraft, and had to keep him all night before he was taken off as a prisoner. He said his platoon was angry with him for having rescued the pilot.
