NO POTPOUURI TODA Y

Personal business day today-no blog. Just a question to ponder; The 9th month of 2010 is 2 days away. What is the status of Dudley House which was supposed to be operating in the beginning of the year? I may have missed a report about it. Is it operational? How many individuals is it serving?

  3. I have passed Dudley House several times over the past month during the day and evening. It is as empty as a tomb and nothing has been done. If anything involves our "do nothing" mayor, don't expect much progress.

  4. Bob, get your facts right. Dudley House is now to be run by Sunrise House, a non-profit with expertise in this field, rather than by the city. Reopening is expected soon. And much has been done, as those of us who remember what it used to look like can tell.

  5. 11:04PM, Thank you for the info. There still is a question about why the delay. Dashields original plan ws that it was to be open on or about 1/1/2010, then for some reason the agency changed but it was supposed to be operational with an office also in the city hall anex. This is 9 months later. Many achild has already been conceived and born.
