I had promised a post about Monday's Council meeting, however a combination of computer problems and an adverse new medicine reaction made fulfilling that promise difficult.
Suffice to say, public pressure did ca use the administration to back off from its arrogant abuse of power and withdraw the "layoff ordinance" which would give the Mayor complete control.
I can not understand how Storch who voted to place it on the agenda and de facto approve the ordinance could now say the Mayor did the right thing. A Council that acted in the interests of the people would have rejected it before it reached the agenda.
